Chicken Soup for the Soul books have short, uplifting stories. There are many different titles.

I have a very good friend who was just diagnosed with stage four liver cancer.

I want to get her some reading material, but it needs to be something that you pick up and put down without losing the thread of the plot. I am thinking uplifting short stories or interesting magazines.

Any ideas are appreciated. Thank you in advance.
