We are creating a Weebly. If you aren't familiar with Weebly, it is fun website that students use to organize information on the computer. They will be researching the Homefront: relocation camps, victory garden, war bonds, recycling, rationing, women at work. They will have to make 6 weebly pages and include pictures and facts about each of these topics.

Here is an entire unit on WWII. I especially like the Home Front part because we hear so little about it.

I'm trying to think of 5th grade project ideas that covers World War II. I was thinking a research paper (we made models for the Civil War) but I'm just not sure exactly what info I'd like included (people? places??). It's been a rough few weeks...and my brain is beyond fried.

Any thoughts? Thanks for sharing.
