Haley~We had conferences this week, too! I am beat and we were talking at lunch today about how we WISH we had had today off as a comp day, but nope...ours is smack dab in the middle of our week off for Thanksgiving.

Are you on Fall break, now? Thankfully, ours began at 4:00 today!

As for the topic of this thread...it's 7:50 and I'm laying in bed. Will probably be asleep within 15 min. LOVE Friday nights!!

Chaperoned a middle school dance then caught the last half of high school Homecoming game...small town life at its best.

Haley~That's a bummer! I think I remember that from last year, too.

You all began at about the same time as we did, too. While I don't necessarily think we need a week off now, and another week off at Thanksgiving, I don't make the decisions, so I'll take it.

Sorry that you aren't off this week.

Cuddles with the baby and DH.. pizza and watching old episodes of ER.

My fall break is ending. DHs fall break is beginning.

Id made soup in the crock pot for supper. We ate, cleaned the guinea pig cage, and watched tv. We are exciting.

after school raced across town to pick up DGD's race bib for her 2nd kid's race this weekend.

back home to get DH and to the mall (because i had some freebies to pick up and a gift card to use and rarely get out there)

then we had gift cards to Panera and had a quite-filling meal.

came home and read a few chapters while taking a relaxing bath.

now just web-surfing for a bit. hoping to get to bed early!

After water aerobics, DH and I ran errands, grocery shopped and cooked.
We'll watch St. Louis and Washington go at it for the series.

I had the day off today because we had conferences the past two nights. I slept in and took a nap, went to the store for the sole purpose of buying snacks and have watched TV. I was invited to happy hour this evening, but I'm going on a brewery tour with some friends tomorrow, and that's enough excitement for me .

More lounging around planned for the rest of this evening. I was debating getting some work done on my classes- I'm taking some to move up to MA +40 and I'm behind schedule. But we'll see how I feel. There is always Sunday .

I went to Costco. Thats enough for me tonight.

techgrad 10-11-2019 04:15 PM

I ordered Snappy Salads for dinner, caught up on my DVR, and about to take a hot bath as the temp dropped about 40* from yesterday to day.

Ready for some sleep!

Being held down by a cat in my lap. When he leaves I am going to get a piece of apple crisp and continue watching tv. Exciting times

I had my favorite soup for dinner and now I am in my PJS on the couch watching tv and surfing the net. I'm going to watch 20/20 or Dateline (depending on which one sounds better) at 8 with a piece of homemade apple pie. YUM! Then bed and sleeping in!

I'm staying in tonight. We had a PD this morning and a faculty golf outing this afternoon. I'm beat and a titch hung over.

42 degrees and raining here. We are on our way to a wedding reception. Skipped the ceremony since it was outside. Brrr!

cruxian 10-11-2019 02:30 PM

I'm having an exciting night with my couch and pajamas. I'm wiped out. Apparently a full moon?

twinmom95 10-11-2019 02:05 PM

Took cat for an emergency vet visit right after school since she doesn't seem to be eating. Blood work and appetite stimulant. She is eating now haha. Results tomorrow. Went out with five or six teachers after school for some drinks and appetizers. Home now and in my sweats and just chilling.

Exciting right? Yesterday the high here in central Texas was 89. Today the high was 55. I am bringing the coats and sweaters out of storage tonight and hanging them up in the closet.

Football here. This grandmother needs to get it together soon. At least it is much warmer than last weeks game. Lovely fall evening 60 degrees. Cloudy but not raining yet... Just hoping they win as is the home coming game.
