I have a new kid, 3rd grader, who reads 3rd grade level fluently but canít comprehend. Listening comprehension is about 2nd grade, but independent reading is about 1st, on a good day. Itís literally like the path between the paper and his brain isnít there. Could that be some kind of processing thing?
