I have a screecher in my resource classes. The screeching doesn't seem to be attached to any demands or expectations. It seems to be just random screaming, possibly for attention. I have tried ignoring it. It continues. I have tried putting him on a timer and rewarding him every 5 minutes without screaming but it doesn't seem to have any lasting effect. I was speaking to another teacher today who is two classrooms down from me and she told me he can be heard in her classroom. Any ideas? TIA
