Now from what I can discern, the steps are years teaching in the district. I just canít figure out what the ď+8...Ē and so on, means next to the degrees? Is it extra classes taken? Hopefully someone can explain to me here.

Hi there,

Those +8 and other numbers stand for credits. So if you had your Bachelorís degree plus 8 graduate credits towards your Masterís, you would be in that column. As you earn more credits, you move columns. Hope this helps!
