Hello, this next year I will have one of my Art/Drawing classes that will have a mixed population. I will have 15 middle school, 7th & 8th grade, students that are of different levels of special needs and 16-18 students that are not of any special needs.

Short background: I teach two periods of Art and 4 periods of English/Literature and US History. In my art class the first semester is primarily a drawing class with a few 'crafts' and one watercolor assignment. My 2nd semester classes I dome several Craft, Sculpey clay and cardboard construction as well as Acrylic landscape & watercolor paintings.

What I am looking for are any ideas of how to make adaptations for the special needs students while making it enjoyable for them but not short changing the other students. Any web sites or links to check out and any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
