No changes for us. It's all in-person on a normal schedule or all remote learning. The district does not have enough funding or space to implement recommended changes.

I find it so interesting to see all the different approaches. I guess time will tell for a lot of us!

We literally have to take everything out of our classroom except tables and chairs. All tables/desks need to be 6 feet apart. All of the nice things that make our classroom homier have to be removed. Plants, rug, soft stuff...etc.

They are spraying our rooms every night with some chemical which has to "sit" on everything for at least 12 hours. That really scares me.

I can get all of my seats 6 feet apart but my room will be void of anything that would make it look like a welcoming classroom. Kids have to stay at their spaces while in the room. It's just awful.

I'm thinking of letting my kids sit 'at' their desk/table, 'under' the desk and 'on' the desk just to give them options. I'll have to do modeling as I've never done!

Our principal asked us to make a map of our classrooms with how we could spread kids out to 6 ft. I think he's wanting to see the reality of the situation. We don't have extra classroom space. We do have good weather so are looking into using outdoor space. I asked for a door to be made in one of my walls and part of our playground to be made into an outdoor classroom, and he actually liked the idea. We shall see!

We don't have any clear-cut plans, yet. There are too many unknowns to expect anyone to figure this out.

On the plus side, our union leadership are already involved in discussing the plans. We did a survey, and we were able to voice concerns.

I really don't think families will be able to handle a hybrid model.

We have not heard anything about that. Unless things take a drastic turn for the worse I believe the plan in my state is to open as normal (with precautions, but all students attend 5 days per week) with an online only option for parents who don't want to send kids. A couple of districts have already announced they're going back with all students 5 days per week. The governor is asking districts to have a remote option ready to go in the event shorter closures are needed if there is an outbreak in that specific school.

Same here except our super believes we will be back in school full time, no problems in August. I really don't think it will happen that way.

My district does not plan to make any changes. The superintendent claims it is impossible so heís not doing anything.

I donít have a portable classroom big enough to spread these kids out. At least I have individual desks. Most classes went to group tables a few years ago.

Nothing yet.

We have two approved calendars. One has our regular start time of frost week of August. The other is a late start of the first week of September. Otherwise, we know nothing.

My room is ready for next year except for student desk arrangements

Has your admin/school shared with you yet how they will creatively use space in the fall to spread out students if you are able to be back on campus? I would love to hear what others are doing!
