I know, don't throw things!

We go back tomorrow- it's PD, which I'm not looking forward to, but then kids on Tuesday. I'm honestly kind of ready to get back into my regular routine. I've been "back on the wagon" with my eating and exercise and it's easier for me when I have my regular school routine. My sleeping schedule is also completely messed up- I'm sure I won't sleep at all tonight.

Most of my teaching schedule is intervention blocks, and the group of kids changes somewhat every 6 weeks. I happen to have really nice groups of kids in every grade level right now, which is completely unusual. I'm sure someone will notice that and change it for next time but for right now my teaching day is nowhere near as stressful as it usually is.

Anyone else, or am I the only one?

I'm never ready to go back. But once I go and get started I'm fine. We have PD today and kids tomorrow. But I'm going to have to go and make sure I have everything done for the morning. I'm so glad I leave myself notes about what I still need to do!

Now that I am back home, I am not unready to return. Of course, if I woke up to a snow day, that would be fine, too. But I have plans that aren't too tough on me and will ease us back into the swing of things, so I am ready to go.

Plus I have a roast ready for the crock pot in the morning and a side dish to go with it. Bring it on!
