I was once in your position and struggled to find a teaching job and subbed for a really long time. I ended up biting the bullet, taking out a school loan to clear my credential through an online program while I continued to substitute teach. You do have to do something like student teaching again which sucks and reflect on your teaching practice some more... Hang in there, this is a really difficult time. If teaching is your passion, stick with it! The kids are going to have a learning loss after all of this.

Is anyone failing to clear their credential here in California? I'm so afraid I wont be able to clear it. I'm already in my extension. I usually get a handful of interviews each year but this year I havent gotten a single one. I know it's due to covid. I'm just really getting down about it😔
