I am a self contained teacher with students who have mild/mod intellectual disabilities. I realize that interactive, engaging, interesting lessons and activities are best for this group of students. I hardly have any resources in my classroom, so I mostly rely on the internet for my resources and materials. There are a few individuals within my district that are working to help me with more materials, but for now, I'm kind of stuck.

Can anyone provide me with website links, resources, materials, or ideas for engaging lessons for my students? My school principal really wants me to use engaging lessons, but I'm receiving no support from her at all.

Please help!
