Since I came back to school, I haven't been able to get my Smartboard to work. I can't get it to duplicate what is on my computer screen. The projector is working. I checked all the cables. I've tried plugging it in to other USB ports on my computer. I rebooted my computer. I clicked on the Start-Connect to Projector and selected Duplicate but it continues to stay on Computer Only. UGH!

They upgraded things over the summer. I tried right clicking on my computer screen, then clicking screen resolution. Before I could choose to duplicate or extend, but now I don't see a choice to duplicate or extend.

I've put in a request for help from our tech support last week, but I haven't heard anything from them. I am sad. We had our Back to School Night and I wasn't able to use the Smartboard to show the ppt I prepared. :-(

Is there anything else I can try? Our students start on Thursday and I want it working. I do lots of different things on the Smartboard with them. I want to be able to use my document camera, too.

Help!

The tech guy came today and had to replace a part. It is working now so I am a happy camper.

Have you checked the input setting on the actual projector? Our projectors give a few different options one of which is computer.

Good luck! It is tough being without such a valuable tool.
