What do you think of popcorn reading? My son is in high school and does not like to read in front of his peers. He does not read fluently and has an IEP. Why do teachers use this practice when all the research shows how it does not benefit the students? He pretended he didnít have his work the other day so he didnít have to read from it and got a zero for being unprepared.
