I agree with teachnkids. If you're looking into administration- especially within the district office- and any of your experience relates to managing, budgeting, solving problems, collaborating with teams, etc, then I would most certainly include those.

Only if they'd be relevent to your job aspirations. For instance if you want a position that requires management of people and you have that experience from former career, then yes include it.

I am a second career teacher and have a lot of pre education experience. However at this point I have 20 years of teaching experience. I need to update my resume to potentially apply for openings within my current district that are not considered a lateral move.

Should I include things prior to my teaching experience? I don't want to make the resume too long.
