did a great lesson! She read Harold and the Purple Crayon, talked to the kids about "movement" and different heights, levels, motions of their bodies, gave them a purple crayon, had them "draw" an object "HUGE" in the air to music. The they actually drew 3 objects on a piece of paper, and designed a pathway in between. Then to the music they drew one object, chose a movement to do along their pathway to the next drawing, drew the next one, moved along their pathway to the next drawing. It was fantastic! Hope this is understandable!

I posted on the grade one section, but I thought I would do it here too. I am normally a grade five teacher and I have to cover a grade one drama and Dance class. I have no idea what to do, any suggestions would be great. Thanks
