There are of course, so many great poems to choose. If your class is anything like mine, they are sports crazy. Casey at the Bat is a fun classic. There are lots of good vocab lessons there too. There are some old audio recordings of this online and kids can't believe how people's speech sounded so different in the "old days."
Another fun one I've done this time of year is Hist Wist by e.e. cummings. It's very short and has a Hallloweeny feel. Kids can do a lot with performance on this, some lines together, some individual, some whole group. You can do a lot with how to use your voice such as high/low, loud/soft. We tried filming it for a Halloween activity last year. Not sure if this link will work....
No particular theme. I have 17 kids. I was looking for a meaningful poem.

Is there a particular theme? How many kids?

I am freaking out! Just found out that my class has to give a performance at an upcoming assembly. I need ideas. It can be poetry, skits, songs, or quotes. It has to include all my students. My class has a very hard time working together and the thought of a performance terrifies me.
