Anyone have any helpful hints on how to stop the tissue parties that I am having in class. It is the cold season so some kids legitimately need a tissue but when one goes then it is a steady stream of kids. I have set a rule that there can only be on person up at time but they are still getting up constantly. We are almost done with tissues and it will be hard for me to get more.

I only allow them to get up to get a tissue if they are having a tissue Emergency. I define that as having “Discharge” coming out of their nose. When I’ve run out of tissues, I’ve gotten one of the big roles of toilet tissue from the custodian and they use that. I suppose you could tell them how many squares to tear off.

Littles...gotta love them!
