Does anyone use Handwriting without tears? I am wondering what your pacing is like and what you complete each day. Thank you for your help!

I am currently using it and have been for several years. It does start with capital letters and each letter takes 3 days (Build it with wooden lines and curves, wet/dry/try on the chalkboard, and a workbook page). It takes no more than 15 minutes each day. Lowercase is only 1 day per letter when we begin that.

I start with lowercase actually. For many (if not most) of my Ks, that is an entirely new alphabet. They're more familiar with uppercase and need less exposure to that set of 26 letters.

I have no recollection if that's how HWWOT is set up though, sorry.

Are you done by February and do you start with the uppercase letters first? Hope you can remember.

I taught it 100 years ago. It's a good program. I can't speak to pacing...but I've done one letter a week with both FUNdations and HW W/O tears.
