I agree any of Greg Tang's books
The Math Curse
How much is a million
Sir Cumference and the First Round Table (and all books in that series)
The Hershey Milk Chocolate Bar Fraction Book
There are also M&M books, (lots of candy books for teaching factions, percents and decimals)

I wish I was in my classroom, I have two book boxes of favorites

I love all the ones already mentioned...I also have a few Marilyn Burns books...she is a FANTASTIC source and if I remember correctly, you can google her name and I believe there is a website out there with her recommendations for math books.

The Greedy Triangle is good for geometry....

I adore the Math Curse...kids love the humor and it can go in ANY direction

Schwartz "Millions" books are great too...there a few of them

Good luck....

I was hoping someone might share some favorite books to help teach math concepts. There are many out there, but hoping to find a "best of" list with your recommendations. Thanks so much! I will need supports for multiplication, division, fractions, area/perimeter and the metric system. Thanks again!
