Violet4's, I am so sorry for that family's loss. That meant a lot for you to be there. I agree that you should take some time to process. Sending a big hug to you.

It is one of the saddest experiences! At my school we have lost 7 students over the years, mainly due to addiction. It is heart wrenching - take some time to sort out your feelings. Wishing you peace.

I understand completely. During my teaching career, I unfortunately had two former student to pass away, and it definitely was a very emotional experience, and one that I am certainly sorry that you had to experience.
