I have a 1" and a 2" with tabs. When you go to the store to buy one, just lay a set of the binder tabs you're going to use in it to see if they'll fit when closed. I have the Avery oval tabs that come in sets of 5 or 8 and they fit in both of my binders very nicely.

Hope this helps!

I'm getting myself uber organized this year too! I'm tired of filing something away and then forgetting which file I filed it under!!!!

I am putting together my teacher binder (love it!) but have a silly question. What kind of binder do I need to get that is wide enough that my section divider tabs don't poke out the side? I know with all the use this binder is going to get that those tabs are going to have a short life!
