I've been on Noom for a couple weeks now, and it's working!

I want to make a list to keep me focused of all the good reasons to lose weight:
-cuter clothes
-more comfortable seating at restaurants, movie theaters, etc.
-less knee pain

What's the best reason you can add to the list? I'll compile and share in a day or two.

additional plus that I believe hasn't been mentioned:

more room in your house/closet--since you can toss out one or two (or three?) of the entire sizes in your wardrobe....

I lost 77+ lbs on WW. I'm off BP and cholesterol meds and the pain in my arthritic knee is 99.9% gone.

I'm with GG, tell us more about Noom. I'm not a "people" person, so don't really want to have to talk in person to a coach - e-mail coaching would be fine. Is the coaching a requirement?

I know I need to lose significant amounts of weight, so my blood pressure would be better and decreased reflux. Plus, with having MS, it would be much easier to move if I didn't have extra weight to haul around.

I have not personally used Noom.but my nephew lost 130 lbs with Noom. He is a changed man. Itís legit.

In addition to the reasons above:

Able to enjoy more activities--sports, hiking
Get down on floor and up again to play with children/grandchildren
Less likely to have balance issues
Increased confidence

I took advantage of a December deal, but normally it's roughly $13/month. I think it's slightly cheaper if you pay up front.

I've liked it bc it gives you reading to do that's no more than 10 min a day, along with quick "quizzes." The quizzes work to gradually help you examine changing bad habits, educating you on choosing healthier foods, and more.

You are also gradually introduced to a weekly coach you can chat and check in with, as well as a closed Noom support group.

It makes sense to me bc I know damn well what to eat (for the most part), I just have horrible eating habits and don't move enough everyday.

Decreases your chance of getting diabetes
You will love yourself!
Decreases chances of certain cancers
You will learn to cook healthier but yummy foods
Lowers blood pressure
Learn to love exercise...any kind. Even a walk each day for 30 minutes will help your heart.
You will be so proud of yourself and should be.

lower blood sugar
better endurance
less stress on heart
less stress on joints

Basically everything in your body works better when you weigh the correct amount.

I feel in control and that I am doing something good for myself

Healthy eating (not necessarily just to loose weight) clears brain fog and reduces bloating.

*Arthritis/bursitis pain lessens tremendously
*I feel good
*I look good
*I can wear a bunch of clothes in my closet that used to not fit. Like a new wardrobe.
*I just KNOW I'm healthier when I eat healthy.

6 lbs to go! When Iím at goal:

  • I like the mirror.
  • My clothes are darling.
  • I feel (mostly) great.
  • Iím proud of myself.
  • Iím who I want to be.

Ok, talk to me about NOOM. How is it different from WW? How much is it? Is it really worth the money? Iíve been half a$$ed considering it.
