Iím interviewing tomorrow (3rd round) for a learning specialist job. My title would be 5-6 math learning specialist, but I would really be working with all the 5-6 (intermediate campus) teachers. I would be on campus 3 days per week and then at admin 2 days a week to work on curriculum, etc.

Anyone have a position like this on your campus? Wondering what some of the job entails and how it works in different places.

I am a Learning Specialist. I'm a mild/moderate special education teacher. My caseload is made up of 1st-3rd grade students who spend 80+ percent of the day and just need help in reading, writing, and math. I just work on IEP goals and scaffolding of skills if needed to help with grade level curriculum access. I have an office and do mostly all pull out in small groups with a couple one on ones.
