Thanks for all these wonderful ideas! I was really drawing a blank. Since I started focusing on getting other nuts in my diet, I don't enjoy raw peanuts like I used to, so I tired of the latest trail mix quickly but I don't want them to go to waste. I have not done any baking / cooking with peanuts in a very long time. I didn't think about including the squirrels but we do have a squirrel or two that visit the bird feeder and they mostly take the same path so I could leave a few peanuts along the way for them and use them for me too.

You could get a pouch of peanut butter cookie mix. Before baking roll the dough balls in a mixture of ground peanuts, sugar, and cinnamon. Really adds to the flavor.

A small batch of peanut brittle?
Or haystacks... one of my favorites!

If I’m not counting calories, I like peanuts in green salad.

I have been eating from a large bag of trail mix and decided I'm tired of the trail mix. I made applesauce cake yesterday. I pulled about one cup of raisins and cranberries from the trail mix and put them in my applesauce cake along with some walnuts. Yum.
I also pulled about one cup of peanuts from that bag of trail mix. How should I use them?
