Hello all,
February is Black History month. A couple of years ago, I had my 6th graders select an African American person, who had an impact on our history and write an essay. The essay included a bio and his/her contribution/significance, etc. We then created a timeline and pasted the essays on the timeline.
Some of the kids wrote up some significant supreme court decisions.
I was hoping to do something different this time: Something that we can display for students to see. Do you have any ideas for my 6th graders?
Thanks all in advance.
