I would love to hear some of your suggestions for what I can do for Earth Day. Another art teacher did a wonderful performance for earth day where she had students paint the earth or something related to the environment to very intense and liberating music. I wanted to know if anyone had ideas about how I could work on this performance or if you had any ideas of any other "happenings" that I am my students would benefit in performing and watching.

Thanks for your help,

Bobbi

you can have them interpret music for younger kids. You didn't say your grade level, but most students are willing to go along with creating things for those who are younger.

You might want to look at music by Raffi (who is very into Earth Day) or Mary Mache.
