EarthyNatural's Message: I taught 3rd grade last year and when we studied the layers of the earth, I found the following YouTube vid. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qa8LZ...eature=related It is a short song. My district recently blocked access to YouTube, but before they implemented that rule I was able to show this short video. The kids loved it and they would hum it all the time. Hope this helps!

Enkidu 08-28-2011 08:44 AM If you can get clay from your art room, you can make a model of the earth, with each layer a different color. Then, slice the sphere and voila! You can see the layers. Any ideas?
