I appreciated everyone’s responses on my appliance thread. FWIW, I can keep the appliances, I just have to justify it in my plans.

Anyway, I found out today that I will have to teach Life Skills PE to my class.

Still waiting to hear back if I have access to the gym.

I was thinking outside walking while the weather is nice and stations inside when the weather is not nice.

Does anyone have any other ideas?

TIA

I had to teach my own PE class for a year. I had a hard time doing traditional group games, though they have their place. Having a set warm-up routine and then stations worked best for us.

You can also Google "OT skills and movement activities"

It will list some of the same things mentioned above. It should also list large and small body movements that also improve their coordination in other areas.

There are also movement cards or posters you can buy.

Yoga
Dancing
Small weight lifting
Lawn games adapted to a gym, like darts
Toss across games
Indoor bowling
Beach ball volleyball, or golf
Whiffle ball

Even something like Wii games

ETA: even learning CPR and other first aid skills!
