Thank you for all the great advice. I've decided to do a visualization and verbalizing lesson. I will utilize the "I do, We do, You do" strategy as well. Wish me luck!!!

"I do, we do, you do" is a good plan to follow! I agree with PP, a simple grammar rule is a good one. A math lesson could be a great one too. I love teaching multiplication and division. I use the "equal groups" method to teach multiplication with my students. Equal groups aligns really well with I do, we do, you do.

It really doesn't matter what you teach so long as you follow the lesson cycle: hook, state goal, how you will determine success, model, guided, independent practice. Ten minutes isn't enough time for any on that, so stop after model and tell them that you'd follow with the rest. Think I do, we do, you do..
If you really need a concrete idea, I would go with an easy grammar rule

If you are familiar with Reader's or Writer's Workshop, you could do a mini-lesson. Those should last about 10 minutes.

I have a second interview and I have to present a 10 minute lesson plan. It can be anything I want, but I am blank! I have a reading comprehension lesson, that I received at a training, but I don't feel confident teaching it for the first time. Any ideas as to what I can teach for 10 minutes? Thanks in advance!
