We made these for Motherís Day and the directions for these said to do everything in the plain side- not the sanded side. I donít know if they all work the same or not, but these turned out okay. Some needed to be weighted after heating to be a little flatter, but they were really cute!

Embossing powder will make it sparkly.

I believe we put my son’s handprint on the smooth side.

Be sure to punch the hole BEFORE you put them in the oven.

They were super easy and adorable. Have fun!

I want to make these

for Father's Day. I got the rough shrinky dinks and the special stamp pad, but I'm not sure what the embossing powder is for and what side of the paper I put the kids' hands on...the rough side or the shiny side?

Any tips for this? My husband couldn't get over the name...not sure what he was thinking??? lol
