Yes, that's why it sounds so familiar, I have heard of CBITS before! They said the (my) university was going to be doing some counseling with students who met criteria, so now I'm really curious what program is doing it. We no longer have an educational counseling program, but it could be school psychology or clinical psychology. As a parent, I felt like the letter was really vague. My son didn't give it to me until later, so I didn't get to respond in time anyway.

I have never heard of this. I assume it would be the organization that is doing the counseling if it's part of the letterhead. Was there contact info on the letter so you can ask about this?

As a parent, I got a letter from school that a group was coming in to counsel kids who needed it after they were screened using questions about stress and traumatic experiences. The parents were asked for permission. Cbits was on the letter- is that the name if the screener or counseling program? Anyone heard of it?
