I wish these posts could stay in the teacher's lounge. I want to read them and will probably forget about them here. I didn't even know there was a Mental Health forum. Obviously mental health affects schooling, but this seems more like a personal issue about one's overall mental health.

Thank you Nancy for sharing this. I did like seeing these posts in the lounge. I will visit this board to read your posts on Mental Health but would prefer them in the lounge as mental health affects everyone not just school.

to "school mental health"???
i thought they were appropriate in lounge. we all know/are someone with these issues....not necessarily school related.

The article is a gentle reminder of the responsibility we do have to treat parents and those with mental illness with respect and try to understand their situation is different.
