My school is offering money for approved PD this summer. We just have to explain what value we will bring back in fall.

I'm very interested in Daily 5 and there is a workshop near me this summer, but I'm wondering if the 2-day workshop is worth attending for someone who knows only the very basics of what Daily 5 is or if it's for someone who has totally bought in and just needs refinement.

Any thoughts?

You can go with no idea of what D5 is about and come back with the tools to put it into place. It's intense and has a lot of great information. I think a newbie or someone who has taught it just a year or two would get more out of it than someone who has taught it a long time.

I went over 10 years ago I believe. It was worth every penny to me (I had to pay myself).
