This made me smile. Although my teachers have been appreciative of my work, not many others have. So, thank you!

I was also a para for nine years before giving up my job to student teach. Paras are often asked to do things that others in the building would never think of doing and are usually the lowest paid in the building. Their roles are important though teacher may not appreciate them. I was blessed that paras are respected by the staff where I worked.

This is my 11th year om SpEd and there is no wasy I could do my job successfully without them!

It is a thankless job with low pay and minimum benefits so I try to do as much as I can as often as I can!

I was a ParaPro for 9 years before I earned my teaching credentials. I know what it's like to work as an aide, and now I know what it's like to work WITH aides. I just want to put it out there that Paras are amazing, and I appreciate all of them so much! I hope you all have a great year!
