I was a Para for 5.5 years and have been teaching for 4. Ask her if you can help assemble items needed for the next lesson, go help in another class, ask if you can have an art project for those that are finished testing or the ones that don't want to watch the movie.

I like my job, the teacher I work with as well as the students. What I really dislike is down time. There has been all day tests where I have nothing to do (students take them on the computer) or class fun day where they watxh a movie. It's during those times I am so bored I bring a book. I don't have Internet or I'd look at my phone. I would rather stay busy. The teacher has no tasks for me to do during that time so I feel like the days just drag! Anyone else deal with this situation?
