How do you have students write using onomatopoeia? Do you have an easy poetry format to follow? My students are studying sound in science, so I thought this would be the perfect time to write using onomatopoeia. Any suggestions are welcome and TIA.

I like this web-link for definition, example, and child made examples of onomatopoeia. I showed this to my students and then they each wrote their own, the poems came out nice.
