Please help! I have never done this before and my school uses this in upper grades. So I understand the gist from finding an article - reading once with kids, then read in partners, and then individual...right? But when reading with kids the first time, do you ask questions at that time? Or is just reading without a pencil..then 2nd time is annotating? I am going to model this for a couple weeks before letting kids do alone..so wondering generally is 2nd read when I ask about it as we read? I cannot find a good "how to" with examples anywhere online!!
