Welcome to 5th grade!

Look for Mr. Nussbaum through Google and TPT for history, he's got a wealth of things out there. I mostly just use our textbooks, so I'm not to familiar with the TPTers.
Here is a list of books that my 5th graders have loved: (I think you meant in general, and not just history/science books.)
-Bud, Not Buddy
-Shadow Children series (Among the Hidden is the first one)
-Gregor the Overlander series
-Flying Solo
-Frindle, and most books by Clements
-Percy Jackson series
-Who Was series
-I Survived series
-Diary of a Wimpy Kid series
-Dog Man series
(You can find a lot of these books at a good price through FirstBook Marketplace. You have to sign up, but it's worth it!)
Just a few off the top of my head.

Hope it helps!

I follow the Science Penguin on TPT. She has tons of lessons and resources for science.

Hello all! Iím moving to 5th after a long time in lower ele and preschool.

Any tried and true resources try for upper elementary ? Specifically science/ social studies? Any upper TPT teachers I should be checking out ?

Also what are some good texts to have in my library for 5th graders who are reading at a grade 4 level and higher?

Thanks for any tips!
