I always answer that the LRE is based on the needs of each individual student and placement is along a continum based on the I.E.P. You can't miss with that one.

You will get pure opinion in return....we all should understand that would depend entirely upon individual needs. The pendulum is always swinging....

I just need an opinion: -Is this a good question to ask a special education teacher during an interview:
Do you believe it is important for a student to be in the LRE (Least Restricted Environment) or to be in a self contained classroom? (Autistic, ADD) Mild
