Teaching Middle Ages/Renaissance Music

Hello,

I am new to the site. I was wondering if anyone out there has taught music of the middle ages or renaissance with middle school students? Say at 7th grade. Our social studies teacher is teaching the Renaissance this trimester and I want to integrate music into this study. Any advice as to where I can get some great teaching materials? Thank you.

Local University

What I did was go to my local university and check out copies of the norton and its recorders. No, I did not teach them using the norton but I was able to get some background info and recordings this way. I then created my on stuff, kind of a highlight material. If I can find it I will send it on, but I would not count on it. It was stored on a long dead computer.
