Which component should I redo?

Unfortunately, I did not receive my certification. I needed 110 and scored 105. I scored the lowest on component 4 (middle childhood generalist). What are your suggestions for redoing a component? I played around with the score calculator - my options are:
-improve component 4 by 0.8 points
-improve component 3 by .35 points
-improve component 2 by .75 points

I do not want to redo the assessment.

Well, many (if not most) candidates say C4 was their beast. How well do you feel you understood it? It's worth the same as C2 (both are 15%), so if C2 feels like it would be easier, do that one. You don't have much ground to make up.

My advice is typically to retake part or all of C1. It is just a couple hours and weighted the heaviest by far. The labor commitment is the lowest with the biggest payoff. But if you don't want to re-take any of C1, it seems any of the classroom components would be a safe bet. Wishing you the best.

I didn't realize that you could retake certain parts of the assessment.

You can take any or all. Each CR is $125 and the SR is also $125. I hope this helps.

1 and 3 are weighted most heavily, so it might be in your best interest to go that route
