I am doing an art lesson for around 1st ad 2nd grade level and I am struggling a little bit on how to make the lesson more diverse for my diverse learners. I am doing a lesson on Egyptian mummification since my teacher is doing the Egyptian-themed unit. My students are very visual, kinesthetic, and musical. <!--eyebrow-->

Some Ideas
I think this is a pretty cool idea for a lesson. If you find you have a lot of kinesthetic learners, you obviously want some activity that is more hands-on. My advice would be to take them outside! Maybe they could trace each other and turn the tracing into a mummy? Perhaps another way you can tie that into art is to just use primary colors. Lessons like these for sure go a long way with 1st and 2nd graders. And it of course never hurts to play some music during your art lesson. Music is art after all.

I hope this helps a little, good luck! Sounds like this will be a really fun and exciting lesson.
