Mask Sewers- Need Help

I am trying to sew some masks with the supplies I have at hand. I am using old cotton tablecloths and napkins. I don't have any interfacing. Should I add a third layer, probably from a thin sheet, or will that make it too hard to breathe?

You could use pillow case material.

I would make this pattern that has a pocket to add a filter. Then people have the option to add or not. Scroll all the way down for the pocket version.

I would use the sheet next to the face and the table cloth for the outside. Then people will know which side is which. I donít think a third layer is necessary.

Mask

I put a layer of flannel in the middle. All 3 layers are 100% cotton. It’s not too thick to breathe.

My husband wants me to make a pocket to slide a coffee filter in each day. I'm not sure if I will

Masks

I'm using fabric from sheets. The very first one I made, I interfaced one layer and then wore it for nearly an hour and I found it VERY difficult to breathe through. Now I'm using just the two layers of sheet fabric. I had used most of the sheets to make a cover for my weighted blanket and still had/have the leftovers.
