Anyone purchased from Agape Diamonds?

My husband is looking for rings for me for our 10th anniversary in February. <!--lovestruck--> When we got married we both just got a white gold band (you k own kids, bills, and all).

I think I want a 3 stone ring, but I DON'T want him spending $5,000.00 on it. I've been looking at lab created diamonds.

Has anyone purchased from here and what do you think?

I never heard of it but I just looked. It seems like a lot of money for something that isn't real IMO.

Have you looked at www.bluenile.com? They sell real diamonds if you want to check them out. Maybe someone else will have more information about the website you mentioned.

I'm starting to look for engagement rings, but I do want a real one. I don't think I've run across this, but since I prefer real diamonds, I won't bookmark this site. However, I'ce run across a couple of those labmade diamond sites. They don't seem that much cheaper.

You might want to look at Galaxy Gold Inc.
I bought myself a right hand half eternity ring with diamonds and sapphires for myself a few years ago, for about $300. Genuine but tiny stones. Very pretty though.
They have quite a variety (with bigger stones, too, of course) and some of their stuff is obviously more expensive but quite reasonable as jewelry prices go.

If you have a local jeweler they can sometimes design a setting to keep it in your price range. My DH wanted to get me a ring several years ago because I lost my engagement ring. We went to an independent jeweler and told him what we wanted to spend . He put the diamond in a setting and put diamond chips under it. It makes the diamond look so much larger.

My hubby is a jeweler

He would be the first to tell you that diamonds are a waste of money. You should look at a Moissanite stone. He replaced my tiny diamond from 30 years ago with a 1/2 caret stone. It is gorgeous - much more beautiful than a diamond. It sparkles so much more. Everyone thinks it is a diamond and I don't bother to correct them!

Tha ks for the info. I looked at moissonite and lab created diamonds (like on the agape site). I'll probably end of doing one of those. I want something pretty that is not tiny but don't want to spend a ton.

readerleader, thanks as well. Although I've wanted a real diamond, this is good to know! Who knows, maybe I'll get moissanite (but probably not). But if it sparkles WAY TOO much more than a real diamond, is it obvious that it's fake?
