I refuse to go back to in-person instruction without the queen button
I love that button. Queen Elizabeth talks to someone as long as she tolerates and then presses the button. Seconds later the person is escorted away. I want that. Talk to a student. Press the button. No talkback. Escorted out. PTC going nowhere. Press the button and parents are escorted off campus. Evaluation. Press the button. Staff meetings. Press the button before they start. Those are my terms before going back. I suppose it would help if I get on ancestry.com and look for royalty in my background. Do you think buying a plot of land in Scotland to get the title Lord would do?
|
Haha LOL
I too, thought that several times while watching the Crown. |
Well, you can buy a star, so you ought to be able to buy the title Lord, too!
|
It worked in the tv show “Leverage” so I can’t imagine why it wouldn’t work for you. LOL
And I’m with you. I want one of those buttons too. |
I thought the Queen used her handbag to show that she was finished with a person, move the bag from one side to the other. I bought a Staples "That Was Easy" Button, maybe you can find one of those. I think I woudl prefer a covered hole that you pull a lever under your desk and the person drops through the floor and slides outside.
|
Hole in the floor works for me too
Klarabell, I read about her bag. They don’t mention that in the crown but the button in in a room where she meets with people in her palace. She’s often alone with people and when she’s done with them she doesn’t say anything. She just presses the button.

Funny
I do like the scene in which princess Margaret pushes the button and the Queen complains, “That’s my button!” Two sisters, squabbling.
