Any Jobs For The Fall Yet?

I know its early, but just curious when the earliest anyone grabs or even sees a potential assignment for the Fall. I disabled my Sub Alert account back in April, but may subscribe again by August. Normally, some jobs begin showing the beginning of August for me.

I have a job offer for 8/13. It's for a new teacher in a subject I don't like, though. I don't even know what will be happening at that point. It is probably because of some kind of training because she is new. I haven't accepted or rejected it, yet.

My primary district is pushing hard/recruiting new/experienced teachers on Linkedin, several ads. I get emails from Linkedin about the district numerous times a week.

Meanwhile in Cali...

In the primary district I sub for, we usually don't see assignment until two wks before the start of skl, so early August for us. My 2nd district which is yr round is doing remote learning until further notice; no assignments.

On Friday my primary district issued a notice that in fact, they will going Hybrid with an option for parents to go full remote learning for their student if they wish. The hybrid model will cap at 33% student physical presence at any time. This will limit 8-13 students per classroom. All staff and students are expected/required to wear face coverings. Aides will be re-purposed to ensure that no student falls further behind. Additional mental health professionals will be on board (psychologist, counselors and social workers) to help those students struggling with mental health issues. Sadly, the campus that I get 85% of my assignments is going full remote learning. Life is great though <!--monarch-->

One of my districts dumped Aesop and switched to Red Rover. They sent a strange text yesterday offering me a half day job next December.

Only one LTS job, that is longer than my permit will allow. Itís been sitting on Aesop for 3 weeks now. No takers.

I haven't even checked Aesop, but I was asked by a teacher to cover her maternity leave this fall so I've got at least a few months covered there!
We're going hybrid as well, so that'll be interesting.
