Grandparents
 

More and more of the people I grew up with are becoming grandparents. My mind cannot process that being possible <!--eyebrow--> These are people who had kids in their early 20s and their kids are doing the same. But wow. I am not prepared to be this much of a grownup yet:p

Yes it’s quite a shock when you realize you’re old enough to be a grandparent <!--giggle-->.

I had my son at 23. He's about to turn 20 this week. I'm 43 so I hope he gives me a while longer. LOL

That’s me! I’m 54 and I have one granddaughter and a grandson due in December. Dh and I don’t look our ages and we usually shock people when we say we have a granddaughter. My parents were older when they became parents and I didn’t want to be in my 40’s having children. It all worked out and we love being grandparents.

I used to feel that way, but now that I am a grandma, I love it! I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world!

I am about to be a grandmother for the first time at 63. I can't wait and am so ready. We had our children in our early thirties and our children are doing the same. Had I been a grandmother in my early forties I may have felt differently. All my friends who are grandparents say it is the best.

The strangest thing about being a grandma is realizing that you sleep with grandpa!
