Organizing PT Bookmarks
I just noticed I've bookmarked over 100 posts! Anybody got a good system of organizing them so you can find what you want when you need it?
|
Folders
I created folders. It is an option in the Bookmarks feature. When I bookmark threads, I get a drop down menu of my folders and can place the thread into the appropriate folder. I have Poetry, Grammar, Spelling, Vocabulary, Lit Responses, Novel Titles, etc. When I go to My Desk, my folders appear in a sidebar and when I open a folder, there are all the bookmarked threads in that category.

are you book marking them on your regular internet browser or somewhere in PT

Bookmarks
I'm bookmarking them in PT. Is there another or better option?
|
Thanks!
I just created three sub-folders and moved one bookmarked post. I wanted to make sure I knew what I was doing. :) I thought I'd hit a wrong key, but all is well. Thanks MiddlingAZ!

I don't know. I have always wanted to book mark them through PT but never knew how. How do you do it?
|
How To...
Go to the top of the post and click on Thread Tools. There's a drop down menu and the bottom one is Bookmark this thread. Then a window pops up for you to click add.
I've got it set up so that any thread I start is automatically bookmarked. Thanks to MiddlingAZ, I've now got a few subfolders. Her directions were great and it was easy to do. Maybe now you and I can both be more organized! :D |
Sweet Thank You! :)

You can also place entire threads or single posts into Collections or into a Scrapbook ny clicking on the scissors icon on the top right corner of any post. You first have to set up your collections by topic. I use the same topics I have on my flash drive (subjects or curriculum areas.)

It can be addictive! I'll have to check out scrapbooking now! :)
