Students' wake today
 

One of the saddest things I've ever experienced. His big brother who I used to teach was there and said it was nice of me to come.

Not so much a vent as it is just a sad story. I think I'm emotionally wiped out.

So sorry. I can see where that would be emotionally draining.

I understand completely. During my teaching career, I unfortunately had two former student to pass away, and it definitely was a very emotional experience, and one that I am certainly sorry that you had to experience.

It is one of the saddest experiences! At my school we have lost 7 students over the years, mainly due to addiction. It is heart wrenching - take some time to sort out your feelings. Wishing you peace.
