Heart cath went well this morning. Ends up he needs a triple bypass surgery. Not what we wanted, but, hopefully it will take care of him.

Thanks for updating! I'm glad the Cath went well this morning, but I'm sorry he needs that extensive surgery. As you said, hopefully it will take care of the issues and can move on. When is the surgery scheduled?

Good luck with the surgery. Both my parents had by pass surgery. Dad at about 64 and mom at 81!

Triple bypass
 

My dad had a triple bypass, and it fixed it right up. His heart remained strong for the rest of his life. For his family, it was scary, but for the doctors it was routine. Sending good thoughts and prayers!

Glad to hear it went well.

I'm sorry that you and your husband ate going through this. Everyone is different, but I hope it helps you to know my father in law had a multi bypass heart surgery close to twenty years ago and he's done pretty well with it. It was scary for a while, but it really wasn't long before he was his old self again. I will pray for you both.

I am sorry, but glad it was found and they will be able to take care of it in a timely manner! I know several people who have had this surgery. I rarely have contact with one so don't know how he is now, but he did well with the surgery and recovery. The other three all did well (one was quadruple) and are still doing great! All four are men.

I went through that with my husband in May. Quintuple bypass as it turned out.
